What is Ayushman Sahakar scheme:
Ayushman Sahakar Scheme was launched on Oct 19, 2020 by the Union Minister of Agriculture Shri Parshottam Rupala. Ayushman Sahakar Yojana will work in line with the National Digital Health Mission. Under this scheme, the cooperative societies of rural areas who want to open hospitals, medical colleges in their area, can apply under this scheme. Government services will be made available in rural areas where medical services are not available. A loan of Rs 10,000 crore will be given by the National Cooperative Development Corporation to cooperative societies to open hospitals, medical colleges in rural areas.
